Bo
The Bo, or stick is probably one of the most common of the weapons and one of the first weapons we teach in the school.
The Bo was developed from a farming tool called a Tenbin: a stick placed across the shoulders with buckets on each end used to carry food or water.

Although the actual size and dimensions of the Bo depend on the students individual needs,  the standard Bo is 6ft tall and tapered at both ends.

The Bo is traditionally made with red or white oak.
